What is TCS NQT 2025?
TCS NQT (National Qualifier Test) is a recruitment examination conducted by TCS for hiring recent graduates for various roles like TCS Prime, TCS Ninja and TCS Digital. Those selected in the exam will be offered opportunities with TCS in different domains & technologies.
TCS NQT uses an Integrated Test Pattern which serves as the entry-level recruitment procedure for TCS. Candidates will qualify for opportunities based on scoring results from the assessment tests for any one of Prime, Digital and Ninja hiring categories.

Who Can Apply for TCS NQT 2025? (Eligibility Details):
TCS NQT 2025 is only for students graduating in 2025 from AICTE/UGC-recognized universities or colleges. You can apply if you have one of these degrees:
Accepted Degrees:
- Bachelor’s Degree: B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology), B.E (Bachelor of Engineering)
- Master’s Degree: M.Tech (Master of Technology), M.E (Master of Engineering), M.C.A (Master of Computer Applications), M.Sc/M.S (Master of Science)
Minimum Marks Required (Academic Performance):
- You must have at least 60% or 6.0 CGPA in all subjects across all semesters in:
- 10th & 12th Grade
- Diploma (if applicable)
- Graduation (B.Tech/B.E, etc.)
- Post-Graduation (M.Tech/M.E, etc.) (if applicable)

Important Rules for Applying:
- No Backlogs: You should have no pending backlogs at the time of the selection process.
- No Extended Education: You must complete your course within the normal duration (No extra years allowed).
- Education Gap Limit: A maximum gap of 24 months (2 years) is allowed in education. If you have a gap, you must provide valid documents.
- Full-time Course Required: Only full-time degrees are accepted. Part-time or distance learning courses are NOT allowed.
- Open Schooling: If you studied 10th or 12th from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling), you can still apply if your college degree was full-time.
- Work Experience: If you are a postgraduate student, you can apply even if you have up to 2 years of work experience.

TCS NQT 2025: Exam Features & Pattern:
- TCS NQT will be held at TCS iON Centers across India
- The test has two sections: Foundation & Advanced
- While everyone can attempt both, the Advanced section is mandatory for Prime & Digital roles
- Performance in the test will decide eligibility for Prime, Digital, or Ninja interviews
TCS NQT Exam Pattern
The exam is divided into two parts:
Part A - Foundation Section (75 minutes)
- Numerical Ability – 25 minutes
- Verbal Ability – 25 minutes
- Reasoning Ability – 25 minutes
Part B - Advanced Section (115 minutes)
- Advanced Quantitative & Reasoning Ability – 25 minutes
- Advanced Coding – 90 minutes
- Total Exam Duration: 190 minutes
