Job Overview
Position: Project Engineer
Job Function: Engineering - Web / Software
Compensation: INR 3,50,000 per annum
Job Responsibilities
Automotive Software Development:
- Develop software for automotive systems like Infotainment, Navigation, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
- Translate user needs into software design and performance requirements.
- Test software to identify and fix bugs, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate and validate software and hardware systems.
- Update software to enhance performance and meet new vehicle requirements.
- Document software functionalities for future reference and upgrades.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in automotive software engineering.
Embedded Systems Software Development:
- Design, develop, validate, and maintain embedded software for next-generation products.
- Work on various software layers, including system configuration, application software, middleware, OS abstraction layer, and device drivers.
- Translate user needs into software design and performance requirements.
- Test software to identify and fix bugs, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate and validate software and hardware systems.
- Update software to enhance performance and meet new requirements.
- Document software functionalities for future reference and upgrades.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in embedded software engineering.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
- 10th Standard: 60% or above
- 12th Standard: 60% or above
- Graduation: 60% or CGPA equivalent to 6.0 or above, as per university guidelines
- Open school or distance education is allowed for 10th and 12th only.
Year of Passing
- 2023 and 2024
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Information Technology (IT), or Cyber Security.
Other Criteria
- One backlog is allowed at the time of the online assessment, but candidates are expected to clear backlogs by the 8th semester.
- A maximum of 3 years of gap in education is allowed between 10th grade and the start of graduation.
- No gaps are allowed during the graduation period; graduation should be completed within 4 years from the start.
- Candidates should be from a full-time degree course recognized by the Central/State Government of India.
- Candidates will be invited for the test process if they have completed a 3-month cool-off period from the previous assessment.
- Should be an Indian Citizen or hold a PIO or OCI card. Bhutan and Nepal nationals need to submit their citizenship certificate.
- Candidates should be 18 years or older at the time of registration.
Compensation Details
- Annual Salary: INR 3,50,000
- Bonus: INR 25,000 after 6 months from joining (to be merged with compensation after 12 months)
- Increments: Regular yearly increments with additional bonuses at 18th, 24th, and 36th months from the date of joining.
Service Agreement
- Applicable for 12 months post joining with a penalty of INR 75,000 on a pro-rata basis if the agreement is breached.
Selection Process
1st round - Online Assessment (128 minutes)
- Aptitude Test: Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability, English (Verbal) Ability (Duration: 48 mins)
- Written Communication Test: Essay writing (Duration: 20 mins)
- Online Programming Test: Two coding problems (Duration: 60 mins)
- Candidates can choose from Java, C, C++, or Python for the coding test.
2nd round - Business Discussion
3rd round - HR Discussion
